Here is the promised roof post. I felt that the windows needed to be mentioned first as they were all built except the dormer, even before the frame went up.
Enter our good friends from Dryden, Ontario, out for a break from the winter blues. Rob helped Steve in their last week with the framing of the roof. Again it changed the experience of the building.
Next, the platform for the loft was installed. Brianna, Abella and Georgia were responsible for this. We chose the herringbone pattern in nostalgia for the last house we renovated which Courtney had laid. As Design and Tech. are part of homeschooling, using the power tools and laying the floor covered LOTS of areas!

And then we decided that to have light coming in on two sides in the loft, we had to build a dormer! Note the red ladder - it was a birthday present for Steve from our Canadian guests!
